It’s easier to stay well, than to get well.
Unkown
When we first started going to Disney we found ourselves bringing home more than our souvenirsđ. We brought home the sniffles 𤧠a few times and then the Flu đ¤.
There are so many surfaces that canât avoid being touched and will be touched by thousands of people before you đŠ. (Specifically the bars/restraints and seat belts.)
A ride with a low capacity such as Peter Panâs Flight can bring on 700 people an hour, the newer rides like FOP are bringing through over 1400 people an hour! Multiple people will have sat/coughed/sneezed where youâll be sitting.
While Iâm NOT a germaphobe you will want to find that inner germaphobe while at Disney.
Obviously washing đ¤˛your hands often and for 20 seconds (sing your favorite Disney verse) is great advice but we also rely on readily available hand sanitizer.đ§´
As soon as we get off any ride we sanitize. We have one hanging from our bag for easy access. We also stop by a restroom to wash our hands on the way to where ever we are going to eat and then sanitize right before eating.
Since finding my inner germaphobe, We havenât brought home any more colds and We love leaving Disney with just our souvenirs đ.
*** Note from The Imagine Wanderlust Team! COVID-19 Update: In addition to the above tips, we will be following all of Disneyâs new guidelines for keeping healthy during COVID. Including wearing a masks đˇ! As Disney fans, we know Disney is doing their best to keep us safe while still making our trip magical. Cast Members are stressed during this time, so please be kind to them. They didnât make the rules and they really just want to make sure your day is magical. Let them do their job and youâll have a fantastic time, mask đˇand all. You all are the best! đ***
